This website exists to offer an open social network for the international online bass community, connecting players with the expansive wealth of information that is each other. Think of it as a stripped down 'my-face-space-book' for bass players, with a kickass web directory attached. 

Members include everyone from equipment builders like Lee Barker from Barker Verticle Basses , or Mark Wright at Accugroove  to internationally recognized professional musicians such as Michael Manring, Billy Sheehan , or Billy Gould , to your general bass hobbyists and amature rockstars... we're all here for the same reason, bass is good.

Browse through hundreds of bassists profiles from around the world. You can add friends, send messages and leave comment, post pictures of your cool bass in your profile gallery, and post your details to stay in touch with your fellow musicans.

BASS GROUPS
Join or create groups to meet players in your area, or bassists with similar gear or playing style. You can also create your own Group events so those in your group know about your gig or product release.

PROPAGANDA
In the imaginary sprit of the IBPU, you can download Imaginary membership cards and certificates. At last an excuse to talk to strangers you see on the street with bass cases, or decorate the jam room.
